Lora is a government program that delivers boxed lunches to children in elementary and high schools. The name Lora is an acronym that stands for: Lunch Oasis Readily Available. This name was chosen so that it is not perceived as a daunting government program. It is also easier for the children to refer to the program as Lora rather than the extended name.
The food would be delivered via food trucks and offer regular and vegetarian food options. To be more eco-conscious, reusable tin lunch boxes and wooden utensils are provided. A micro-app is for the parents to monitor what their child could receive as a meal, learn about nutrition, and track the food truck.

The Objective
A self driven project that has a branding and multiple deliverables. The deliverables had to span between print and digital, with a twist towards packaging. An issue that is found across the whole country is lack of availability of nutritious foods for those who are of lower incomes.
For The Children
To make things portable and more fun, the children receive a reusable lunch box tin and reusable wooden utensils.
For The Adults
A way to ease the availability of the program, a app is available for them. The app has a calendar to see the specific menu items available, ways to learn about nutrition, the menu of the week, and a tracker to see where the truck is.
